Long time no post!

Wow do I have a LOT of updating to do! As of today, I am down 40 pounds!! My scrubs for work are already huge on me! After I lose 10 more pounds I am going to a.) buy more scrubs  b.) get a promised pedicure from mom! Mom said that once I lose 50 pounds that she is going to get me a pedicure from a girl that does hers. I have never had a pedicure before, so that sounds cool to me!

For the most part I have had nothing but good things happen....with the exception of one or two...
Towards the middle of December I had to get re-admitted to the hospital for a few days. My bowels stopped moving and I was pretty darn dehydrated. While there I got plenty of I.V. fluids, another E.G.D. (to see if I had a stricture), another gallbladder ulstrasound and a medicine called Reglan (to help my bowels move again). Well the only thing that truly came back poorly was my gallbladder ultrasound. Basically I now have sludge in my gallbladder and will eventually have to have it taken out. By the time I left the hospital I felt like a new woman! I could finally drink more fluids, keep a little more food down and I have been fine ever since, with the exception of an annoyingly sore spot around my gallbladder.
When I saw my awesome surgeon again he said that if I started having any nausea and vomiting to go straight to the hospital and he will take out my gallbladder.
Well I've definitely had some nausea...and pain there...but I'm still holding out a little longer.

Anyhow, that's what's been going on here lately. I'll try to be better and update some more later on.

Take care everyone!

I hope you don't mind me commenting on your blog. I've been following it for a while now and just wanted to say it sounds like you are doing awesome! You've lost a lot of weight in a short time. I hope you are able to wait out the gallbladder for a while but if not at least it's laproscopic and you heal quickly. Good luck with that.
